Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings made with Surrey 100 Limited, trading as The Normandy Hotel, whether via the hotel website, third party booking agents or by telephone or otherwise. Please note that for promotional bookings the relevant additional terms and conditions should be consulted.
When you make a booking, your contract (which shall include these terms and conditions) will be with Surrey 100 Limited trading as The Normandy Hotel, Inchinnan Road, Renfrew PA4 9EJ.
Dinner reservations times cannot be guaranteed on line. If your booking includes dinner, please contact the hotel direct to book your slot prior to arrival or upon check-in. Please note that the price being offered currently cannot be guaranteed should you not complete your booking at this stage.
All rates featured on the The Normandy Hotel website or quoted by telephone or otherwise are offered subject to availability and The Normandy Hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.
The Normandy Hotel offers a choice of room only, bed and breakfast, room and dinner or dinner, bed and breakfast rates. All prices are subject to availability.
The Normandy Hotel accepts payment from Visa, Mastercard and American Express
We offer a full range of packages and pricing, as detailed below. Our packages and pricing will fluctuate depending on availability and demand at any given time. All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to availability and are inclusive of VAT at the current prevailing rate. Your price is guaranteed once you have been given a confirmation number.
ADVANCE PURCHASE RATES
In general, our Advance Purchase rates are available 7 days a week, and are fully prepaid at time of booking. Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and-non transferrable. The credit/debit card used to book the Advance Purchase rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required for any additional items purchased during the stay.
BEST FLEXIBLE RATES
In general, our Best Flexible Rates are available until the day of arrival. These rates allow you to alter or cancel your booking up until 2pm, 24 hours prior to the day of arrival without charge. Cancellations made after this time will incur a one night’s room charge.
PROMOTION & PARTNERSHIP RATES
These rates will require a promotion code. Separate terms and conditions may apply which will take precedence over these standard booking terms and conditions.
For the avoidance of doubt, your price does not include any incidental charges which you may incur during your stay (including, by way of example only, in respect of your use of the hotel’s bar and the costs of external telephone calls from your room). Such charges will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with The Normandy Hotel that you irrevocably authorise The Normandy Hotel to debit your credit or debit card (see ‘Deposits and Pre-payments’ below) for the amount of any shortfall.
WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES
Prices for breaks include twin or double bedrooms (single room for single guests) with colour TV, direct dial telephone, private en-suite bathroom, superfast secured WiFi and overnight Parking For the duration of the hotel stay only.
During major sporting events, social events, conference and exhibitions certain rates may not be available. Certain dates may be subject to a minimum length of stay. All rates are subject to availability.
FAMILY & CLUB ROOMS
Family & Club rooms may be available at a supplement per night. Generally these rooms offer more space. Please ask for details at time of booking.
Individual guests using a double or twin room for sole occupancy may carry a supplement each night. Please ask at the time of booking.
Children under the age of twelve can stay free on a bed & breakfast basis at the hotel when sharing a family room with two paying adults. Children from the ages of 13 to 15 years will be charged at the adult rate per night when sharing a room with one paying adult. Availability of suitable rooms is limited and portable beds may need to be used where such accommodation is sought for children up to the age of 12 years. The management of The Normandy Hotel will determine whether a room is suitable for the purpose of this offer.
GUESTS WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY
The Hotel offers some modified facilities for guests with impaired mobility. Whilst not having special facilities, have mainly level or ramp access to public areas and larger rooms with pull chords in bathrooms. Guests with impaired mobility or other particular requirements should check with their chosen hotel in advance that their requirements can be met. Please call the hotel direct for details.
Car parking is complimentary to all guests for the duration of the overnight accommodation. Long stay parking is complimentary up to 15 days, any additional days will be charged at £5 per day.
CHECKING IN AND OUT – ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Hotel rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Early check-in may be available on request and charged as £10 for check in between 12 noon and 2pm.
Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure, Late departure will be charged at £10 up until 1pm.
Rates which include breakfast offer a full traditional or continental breakfast with tea or coffee, unless stated otherwise.
Rates which include dinner include an allowance of £17.50 per adult and £7.00 per child. There is no refund for meals which are not taken by guests and lunch cannot be taken in place of dinner.

Our Reservations Team is available to take your booking six days a week from 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am to 5.30pm Saturday.
When you make your booking you will be asked to guarantee your booking with a valid debit/credit card if booked on Best Flexible Rate, or to prepay if booked on our Advance Purchase Rates, partnership or promotional rates.
A booking of ten rooms or more is classified as a group and is subject to our Group Terms & Conditions of business, which differ from our Best Available and Advance Purchase rates. Please contact our Reservations team for further details.
BALANCE OF MONIES OUTSTANDING
Prior to your departure from the hotel you will be required to settle your bill.
On arrival you will be asked to produce a valid credit card for the hotel to take pre-authorisation. If you are settling your account in cash or with a debit card, you will be asked for a deposit to cover the cost of your room for your stay (any extras which you may incur in the hotel will not be chargeable to your room account).
Guests are liable for any damages to their room and items therein. In the event of any damages the The Normandy Hotel will debit your card for the amount required to cover the cost of replacement items or reinstatement of the room.
The Normandy Hotel accepts all major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
The credit/debit card used to book your reservation must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel.
GIFT VOUCHERS & VOUCHER PRIZES
The Normandy Hotel gift vouchers should be presented on check-in or when paying for your meal. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, this will be specified on the voucher. Vouchers used as competition prizes, unless otherwise specified on the voucher, are valid for 6 months from date of issue.
CANCELLATION & AMENDMENTS
All cancellations are made in accordance with the cancellation terms of the rate booked.
Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and non-transferable and full pre-payment will be forfeited.
Best Flexible Rates may be cancelled up until 2pm, 24 hours prior to the date of arrival without charge, after which a charge for the first night’s accommodation shall be payable.
Promotion and Partnership rates may only be cancelled in accordance with the specific terms applying to that rate which will be advised at the time of booking.
A cancellation number must be obtained to ensure that minimum charges are levied.
Whilst every effort is made to fulfil any particular requests which you may make in relation to your stay with us, please note that these requests do not form part of our contract and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests.
COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS
Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our hotels should be made in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time. Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to the hotel’s General Manager, The Normandy Hotel, Inchinnan Road, Renfrew PA4 9EJ.
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information set out on our websites and marketing campaigns, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured on our websites or email campaigns or otherwise at any time.
All details are correct at time of going to print, however may be subject to change from time to time.
The Normandy Hotel shall not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire, failure of electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with transport, illness of entertainers and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary or any other consequences which arise as a result of such events.
For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate to attempt to exclude or limit The Normandy Hotel’s liability for the death or personal injury of any person caused by the negligence of The Normandy Hotel, its employees, servants or agents or to attempt to exclude or limit The Normandy Hotel’s liability in any manner which would be unlawful. These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the hotel you make your booking is situated.
Gift vouchers can be exchanged or used in part payment for accommodation, meals taken in our restaurant or for our Tribute Nights or Christmas events. Our Tribute & Christmas events are payable prior to arrival (please see separate T & C’s for this).
No change will be given when payment is made with Gift Vouchers.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Pre-order drinks must be paid at the time of booking and will be on your table for arrival.
Orders must be made by 12 noon on the day prior to your event taking place.
In the event of you cancelling your booking, the full amount will be refunded provided this has been cancelled by 12 noon the day prior to your event taking place.
