Your Stay With Us

CAR PARKING & airport transfers

Free Parking is included in the cost of your room on the nights you are resident at the hotel.

If you are travelling on holiday / business and wish to park your car for the duration of your trip, we offer competitive parking packages which include return airport transfers. Please ask our reception team for information.

CCTV is in operation, however, please note that vehicles and their contents are left entirely at the owners’ risk.

DO NOT DISTURB / SERVICE MY ROOM

These signs are located on your bedroom door. Please advise housekeeping if you do not wish to be disturbed by placing the door hanger so that the relevant side is showing. Should you wish your room to be serviced, please place the door hanger outside your room.

FACILITIES & AMENITIES

Non-allergic pillows and duvets are available if required. If you would like extra pillows or towels or please contact Reception.

A hair dryer is located in the top drawer of your desk. There are complimentary tea and coffee facilities in your bedroom. Please note that bedroom toiletries are replenished when required – please contact Reception if you would like to request these.

LATE CHECK-OUT

Check-out is at 11.00am on day of departure, however we do offer a Late check-out service for an additional charge. Please contact for Reception more information.

SMOKING

All our rooms are non-smoking. The Normandy Hotel will levy a charge of £150 for deep cleaning should guests smoke and may be asked to leave the hotel.

SNACKS & DRINKS

For the convenience of guests, there is a vending machine located on the ground floor where you can purchase a variety of drinks and snacks.

TV, PHONE & INTERNET

TELEVISION

A wide range of television channels are available, simply check the on-screen menu. Please do not remove the tv remote control from your room – it is programmed to work only with this system.

A variety of Live Sports are screened in our bar and public areas.

INTERNET

STAY CONNECTED AT THE NORMANDY HOTEL

Complimentary superfast WiFi access is available throughout The Normandy Hotel and it’s easy to connect. Simply switch your computer or mobile device to ‘wireless’, select the Normandy Hotel Guest WiFi, then just follow the onscreen instructions.

If you experience any problems, please contact Reception on ‘0’ for assistance. Calls are charged at standard rates from all guest room phones to landlines in the UK and Ireland. Charges also apply for calls to mobile phones.

The Normandy Hotel offers:

Designated Disabled parking immediately in front of the hotel
Ramp access to the hotel entrance
Lift access to all guest bedrooms
We adhere to the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) policy and actively encourage you to provide feedback with your recommendations on how we may be able to further improve our service.

FIRE SAFETY

If you discover a fire, sound the alarm by breaking the glass at an alarm point located in the corridor. Please follow the instructions on the back of your bedroom door.

VALUABLES

Guests can deposit valuables in the hotel safe. The Normandy Hotel cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings left on the premises. Please contact Reception if you require further assistance.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS / ALLERGIES

For guests with special dietary requirements or allergies who may wish to know about the food ingredients used, please contact the Duty Manager.

CHILDCARE

We ask that all children aged 14 or under are accompanied by an adult at all times. If you wish to use the services of a babysitter, please contact Reception who will provide you with the contact information of an external, registered child-minding company.

Eat & Drink

THE WHITE CART RESTAURANT

Experience delicious dining in our White Cart Restaurant. Open daily from 5.00pm until 9.30pm. We offer an extensive menu featuring a range of cuisines including American, Italian, Scottish & Asian. We also offer a delicious children’s menu.

Food is also served in our Lounge Bar from 12pm until 10.30pm every day offering a range of affordable snacks and meals to suit every taste.

Open daily from 5.00pm – 9.30pm (last orders at 9.00pm)
