Here at The Normandy our Christmas Calendar is always jam packed full of fun with a variety of fantastic festive events and tribute night you’re unlikely to forget for quite some time. In fact, our Christmas events are amongst our most popular and tickets always sell fast, so why not get ahead of the game and guarantee your spot this Christmas? Our team of Santa’s little helpers have been hard at work creating this year’s Festive Calendar and it’s looking like this might be our best year yet! So whether you’re on the lookout for a sensational Christmas office party, a night out with the girls, a family Christmas day out or just the perfect place for a festive celebration – we’ve got you covered this Christmas at The Normandy.
We have a selection of our biggest and best tribute nights returning to The Normandy this November and December. So if you’re in the mood to celebrate your favourite decade then why not join us at Club 80’s Live, 70’s Boogie Wonderland or That’s What I Call the 90’s? Or if you can’t decide which you love best you can dance the night away to all three at our 70’s, 80’s & 90’s Night With the Stars or our Dancing Through the Decades tribute nights! However, if your musical taste is a bit more specific and you want to spend the night singing at the top of your lungs to your favourite artist or musical then don’t worry, we’ve got just the thing! Why not head to our Rod Stewart, Madness, Hopelessly Devoted To Dirty Dancing or Lady Gage with Shania Twain and Cher tribute night?
And the fun doesn’t stop there! If you’re in the market for a more Christmas-themed affair for all of the family, we’ve got quite the selection for you and the little ones. Starting with our brand new Lunch with Frozen’s Anna & Elsa! Bring the whole family along to meet their favourite Frozen characters and enjoy a delicious meal right here at The Normandy. This is guaranteed to be a day out that the kids will never forget. On top of that, we also have our traditional Senior Citizens Lunch with Chris Small and our Festive Disco Lunch. These bring everyone together to enjoy delicious food and fantastic musical entertainment during the festive period. What’s not to love?
Then before you know it, the big day itself will be upon us and as always, we’ll be hosting our annual Christmas Day feast! So join us on the 25th and indulge in a delicious 3 course festive fayre lovingly prepared by our chefs. Not only will there be no need to stress over doing the cooking this Christmas, but you can also forget about the cleaning up because we’ll take care of it all. What’s more, we’ll have the whole family in the Christmas spirit with fantastic entertainment in our Blythswood Suite to keep everyone happy throughout the day. Or for a more relaxed day you can book into our restaurant and enjoy a great meal.
However, if Boxing Day is usually when you’re in need of a little relaxation then there’s no need to worry as our traditional Boxing Day Carvery will be available once again this December 26th. We know Christmas Day can be pretty exhausting so join us for a gorgeous 3 course carvery meal with the family and beat the post-Christmas comedown The Normandy way!
Our Christmas Calendar this year will take you into 2020 with three New Years events. Starting with our extravagant Hogmanay Gala Ball with Jim McMail, Barbara Bryceland, Big Vern & the Shootahs, a piper and our resident comperes – the one and only – Shuggy Wuggy. Our Hogmanay Gala Ball is literally bursting full of entertainment to make sure that you bring in the bells properly. So join us this Hogmanay and welcome in a new chapter with a delicious 3 course meal plus tea and coffee, and all those fantastic acts to help you party the night away!
Finally, once 2020 has arrived we have our annual New Year’s Day Carvery so that you can refuel after a night of celebrating. Enjoy a family carvery meal then if you’re still in the mood for celebrating you can join us at our First Footers’ Mamma Mia Party that evening. Is there any better way to celebrate the beginning of a New Year that with all the very best hits from ABBA? Of course there’s not!
